  • 6Supplements to help with popping neck/spine?

I'm 28 years old, and since high school, after an accident, I found that often I'd need to pop my neck because it'd get real tight. As the years went on, I started having to pop (more like crack) my spine, and when I do that, I feel it in the center as if it's coming from my chest. Now my shoulders, ankles, knees, thumbs, neck and spine, even sometimes my hips, all pop while doing normal activity and more sound like they crack when I force them to. My diet is good, and I drink about a gallon of water a day. I'll admit I'm not active like I used to be, but I doubt that's the problem. I've tried different beds, stretching, Tai Chi, yoga, and other exercises and all that ever happens is they pop a hell of a lot more. Are there any supplements I should try to see if it'll get better? Can't go to the doc (no insurance) and I'm getting back into exercising. I'm just wondering if there's a supplement that'll help this issue. Also, I've tried Glucosamine in the past, and for some reason I developed fluid on my knee, which went away when I stopped taking the pills. Thanks for any help, sorry for the long post.

  • 11Painless lump on neck?

This may sound a tad silly, but I've had a painless lump under my jaw on the right side for about 6 years now and have never had the sense to go get it checked out by my doctor, and now it's a bit difficult because I don't have insurance coverage where I am. Anywayyyy, to the point. My lump doesn't hurt at all, and it's unilateral. I noticed it when I was 13 and brought it to my mother's attention, but she dismissed it as nothing (she is not even in the health field). So, ever since then, I've been getting sick a lot more often. Sinus infections, chest colds, asthma attacks due to these colds, sore throats, etc. Due to an unrelated illness recently, I had an MRI of my left shoulder only, and the radiologist noticed some rather large nodes by my armpit. Now, I'm getting a little scared.. So the lump in the neck, the nodes by the armpit, the consistent sicknesses.... My nodes by my armpit were only felt physically and nothing else came of that. Being the hypochondriac that I am, I Googled my symptoms and Lymphoma came up... I share these symptoms with it: -Fatigued -Short of breath -Lump in neck/armpit -Random itchiness (sometimes) I'm also concerned even further because my mother's side of the family has a long line of cancer. My mom currently has a tumor in her uterus (still being tested, but hopefully not cancerous), her father had prostate cancer, her brother had kidney cancer, her father's brother and sister both died of cancer.. I'm no doctor, but I feel like I have a great risk of having Lymphoma, especially with these symptoms. Do you or somebody you know have an experience with Lymphoma? How do I go to Health Services and ask them to evaluate me?? I can't just go in and be like "Hi! I think I have Lymphoma." and I also can't be like "Hi! I've had a lump in my throat for the past 6 years." What should I do? Am I just being a hypochondriac? Does it actually sound like I have something?? Sorry that my post is just everywhere! You can tell I'm a worry wort. My apologies, and thanks in advance. xx

  • 12Large breast lump!! Please help!?

Okay so I'm freaking out!! I'm 19 now. I discovered this large lump when I was about 17 or 18, and since it has grown and shrunk a little bit. Right now its about the size of a quarter. Its hard and moves around, I went to the doctor about a 4 months ago and had an ultra sound done and when I went to the doctor they diagnosed it as a fibroadenoma. BUT he said that he wasnt completely sure it wasn't cancer... Which confused me. So I went home and thought about my options, whether to remove it or not. When I called the doctor back he NEVER called me. (May I remind you that i have horrible insurance, and horrible doctors). I worry off and on about it, and I'm not sure where to go from here. Can anyone give me some info tomake me feel better?! P.S. I have reallly really lumpy breasts when its close to my menstraul cycle.. Is that normal?!
